Only dogs with valid FCI pedigrees can be entered to the show. Dogs which have been neutered & sick dogs are excluded from the show. Dogs should be vaccinated against rabies and should have an international pet passport otherwise they will not be allowed to approach the show premises.

Dogs of breeds recognized at the national level can be entered for dog shows in Split. Breeds that are not yet recognized (niether definitely nor provisionally) by the FCI, must be recognized at the national level and have pedigrees issued by a national kennel club that is a member or a contract partner of the FCI. In addition to this, the entry fee must be paid according to the stated deadline prices.

Dogs  with cropped ears and docked tails, can not participate in any cynological events in Croatia (except the hunting breeds who can have docked tail).
