CAMPERS – important change!
A lot of people were asking us why we changed the days of our shows – and I am so happy we did! Last night it was announced that Split’s football club Hajduk will play on Thursday evening at 21, July 23rd on Poljud stadium (which is situated just next to our showground) a match against Pafos from Cyprus. That means that more or less on Thursday after 16 o’clock all roads around Poljud will be blocked by police and the whole area will be full of football fans and very loud. So if you want to arrive with your camper on Thursday it will be possible only from noon till 16 and from midnight till 1 in the morning (better option if you want to have peace and quiet). Out of these times it will not be possible to reach the parking for campers as all roads will be blocked. The new camping area is with fence and not on the way where fans are passing, but note that it will be very loud on Thursday evening during the match. On Friday you can come any time after 8 in the morning.
Cars & vans can be parked for free at the same place as last year. It is a huge parking on a walking distance from the showground, big enough for everyone and specially this year when campers will not be parked there. It is just in front of the main Poljud stadium. Our volunteers will be helping to park well the cars on Friday from 15,30 till 19,00 and on Saturday, Sunday & Monday from 16,30 till 19,00.
CAMPERS INFO
As this year campers have a private place on a walking distance from the showground and not together with other cars we inform you that it will be possible to enter the designated place only as following:
Thursday, July 23rd from 8PM till midnight
Friday, July 24th from 8AM till 4PM
Out of these times it will not be possible to enter the camper’s place so please plan accordingly. You can stay at the place till Tuesday at noon.
Also once the campers are in it will not be possible to move them as it is a closed area, so in case you are not staying till Tuesday you need to let us know so we park you at the end of the line.
As informed earlier, the place has no shadow, but water and electricity will be available.
